Eternal Heart was created to a be fun rogue-like experience with RPG elements. It was built for community contributions through the game editor and is meant to be immensely replayable through randomized loot drops. It will function on many Windows 10 devices and has supported control paths through KB&M, Touch and Xbox Gamepad. It will continue to evolve over time with more content for creators.
Eternal Heart is a departure from my other game development platform. Venatio Creo was designed to provide an open-ended experience for creating any type of 2D game. While it was versatile, it was a little hard to use because of the immense amount of options. Eternal Heart attempts to address that difficulty by providing a more focused game experience where many of the game elements are handled internally and not left to the user to decide. Despite the reduction in scope, you'll find that Eternal Heart offers a wide variety of potential game levels.
This is designed to act as the first step towards the next generation of Venatio Creo. This product will ultimately determine the path for that platform and I'm very interested in gathering feedback from the community.
